What’s Inside

Everything you need, under one roof

Walk in with a full basket and walk out with clean, folded laundry. Here’s what makes it easy.

Washers for every load

From a week of work clothes to a king-size comforter, there’s a machine sized for it. Washers run $3.25 to $5.25 depending on size.

Dryers from 25¢

Rows of hot, fast dryers along the back wall, so the whole load finishes together. Start with a quarter and add time as you go.

Reloadable laundry card

Load it once and forget about change. Tap to start any machine, then top it up on your next visit.

Pay with your phone

Leave the coin jar at home and pay right from your phone. Quarters still work too, so everyone is covered.

Soap and snacks inside

Forgot the detergent? Pick some up in the store. A vending machine keeps drinks and snacks close while you wait.

Folding tables and carts

Wide tables and rolling carts sit right by the dryers, so you can sort, fold and head home neat.

About Us

Sumter’s bright spot for laundry day

Sunshine Laundromat opened on South Guignard Drive in 2021 with a simple goal: give Sumter a laundromat that’s clean, modern and easy to use. That means up-to-date machines, a reloadable card system and a store you don’t mind spending an hour in.

The owner is often on site and glad to help, whether a dryer needs a second look or you’re trying the card for the first time. New management has also brought lower prices, so a clean load costs less than you’d expect.
